We use an Independent jeweller because they can offer a very quick turnaround and they do a very high standard job!! Now that I've found a reliable and very able Watchmaker who charges reasonable prices, I'm happy to extend this service to all the watch enthusiasts who look at this site.

Servicing of Vintage Omegas can't be undertaken by just anyone, since parts are not available for all models, but the poor customers have been saddled with exhobitant, unreasonable, prices for ages.The likes of Goldsmiths & Watches of Swiitzerland justify their ridiculously high prices by telling you that the watch is being sent back to Omega in Switzerland. This is complete rubbish as Omega sub-contract ALL their UK repairs for Vintage Omegas to Swiss Time Services nr Southend-on-Sea, hardly Geneva is it?

All prices include VAT, p&p is £6.99, an estimate will be sent if any repair work is required. a service takes 3-4 weeks. Please email me for details of what is included in a standard service.

If a watch has been serviced, the item description will ALWAYS say so, if it is not mentioned, please assume the watch has not been serviced.

Guarantee
All watches that have been serviced will have the benefit of a 12 month guarantee. Watches that have not had a service will benefit from a 90 day guarantee of the movement by Vintage Watches. Under no circumstances can we guarantee against water damage. As we are sure you know already, vintage watches have very variable resistance to water.. We are sure that you will understand that the age of the watches we supply precludes us from offering a longer guarantee period.

In all cases, it is Vintage Watches that will offer the guarantee, not any Agent or Supplier we may have used.

Returns
We will obviously make a full refund if you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason within 7 days of purchase. You can send it back just for ‘changing your mind’! Further, we will accept return within 30 days if our description is inaccurate in any way.

If a watch is returned under any guarantee then we reserve the right to effect repair at our own cost. The decision whether repair is economic or not shall always lie with Vintage Watches.
