I haven’t had a Cosmic 2000 on the site for years, had lots of Comics but not a 2000. this has been serviced so has a 12 month guarantee and is 93% (near-mint). It runs as good as it looks and I fitted a brand new brown Omega strap & buckle for completeness.. Cal 1022 and S/N 38457539. Case is 38mm so it’s not small!

Cosmics have a unique one-piece construction from a single billet of metal, the movement is only accessible through the dial and you have to get a special tool to get in there. This helps with water resistance, so they were aimed at Divers, the problem was that is a very expensive method of construction and the Cosmics were too expensive to be the commercial success they deserved to be although they were still quite successful. The problem today is that they are easily faked and most Collectors don’t have the required tools to open it. The moral is that you must only buy from a trusted source (like Vintage Watches, we offer a life-time guarantee of the authenticity if our product) and nearly always have the Cosmics serviced just so we can verify it’s genuine.
